What's a solution? And no I don't mean the physical sense like salt in water. A solution to an issue. Let that help us then, an issue.
So we have an issue which is a problem that we are aware of right? That's whats meant when someone says don't make it an issue, meaning don't bring attention to it, its not like the problem doesn't exist its just not an issue if no one is aware of it. So an issue is a problem that one is aware of.
When we are aware of a problem we make noise, or at the very least it troubles our minds. This causes our attentions to be stressed, even if it is the smallest of stress, away from the important things in life. Especially when it comes to a problem that could manifest anytime and well outside of our control.
In insurance this problem is defined as risk. When we say risk we are talking about problems that could exist. Maybe this isn't an issue for you because its not something you are aware of, however that does not make the problem not exist.
So then what does all of this have to do with a 'solution'?
A solution is silence. Its a peaceful state of mind, at least when it has to do with one particular issue. It eliminates one more distraction and one more stumbling block on a path to rest.
But if a solution is provided by another person, say in the case of insurance, you cannot be at peace without the trust. Otherwise its just a shifting of a problem from one to the next.
That is my aim in starting my agency. I want to earn trust from my clients that a solution can be reached so that my clients don't have to walk through life with an itching problem at the back of their mind. That is no way to live life wondering what might become. Many people find their solution through giving their spirit to God which is good no doubt, but we have also been given our tools to help one another. Is the tool maker not also inspired by the maker of all things? Insurance is just a tool, a strange tool that has to do with money and numbers, but a tool non the less. One does not need to trust in men and their tools, but God who makes tools of men. Insurance, I believe, can and is used as a tool of God. So when called by God to lay down your life and you cry "What about my family?!" God says trust, here is a solution for your family should I decide to take from you what belongs to me.
I know for myself I wish to see everyone follow their hearts and their dreams, God places those inside of us. Allow me to take the burden off your shoulders of what should happen to your family should you die, or what should happen if you become hurt, or what should happen if you can no longer work, or what should happen if you cannot pay for treatment. Do children worry about these things? Then neither should you.
